Summer is near! Here are some Summer themed puzzles to get your kids ready for the season! These puzzles are called Mish Mash puzzles. They contain 10 words that have been busted in half. The goal is to mash them back together again. There are 3 puzzles with words of different lengths, including 6 letter words, 8 letter words and 10 letter words.
I suggest that you give your students the 10 letter word puzzle first. It seems like the longer words will be harder, but the halves are 5 letters long and that actually provides more feel for what the words might be. And that makes them easier to solve! The 6 letter word puzzle is more difficult to solve with only 3 letters in each half. (Note: SHOVEL is not one of the words in the 6 letter puzzle!)
