Hidden Pictures Puzzles

I got a Puzzle Buzz booklet in the mail from Highlights today. I couldn't help myself and did all the puzzles! They were easy, but they were fun. I particularly enjoyed the sticker jigsaw page. You had to figure out where the stickers went, then find 15 things that were silly about the picture, like the polka-dotted horse or the horse wearing glasses. Highlights is advertising for their Puzzle Buzz magazine subscription for ages 4-7. It looks like they have various lengths of subscriptions available. They also have a Puzzle Mania magazine for ages 7+. Both of these magazines look amazing, so if you are looking for more puzzles for your kids, they should do the trick! They even come in color and have stickers! Just so you know, I am not supported by Highlights, I just think they make amazing puzzles.

My family has always enjoyed solving the Hidden Pictures books from Highlights. They put out a new set of 4 books each year and I usually buy a set for myself and my mom. Even though we are adults, we enjoy solving these. Some of them can be very tricky, so they do offer a challenge! And I can often rope my adult children (they are both over 17 now!) into solving them with me...whenever they are around anyway.

I did wonder if there were any adult versions of Hidden Pictures and was able to find the Search and Find Book for (Immature) Adults! You can find some information and pictures here. These are not for children, so be careful if you visit the site. One of the scenes is called "Crazy Cat Guy" and has hidden pictures for aluminum foil and a Jerusalem artichoke! Another scene is called "Field Trip to a Meth Lab", so just not something you want little kids exposed to. But it is definitely fun for us adults, so I wanted to mention it here. Let's hope they make more fun Hidden Picture style puzzles for us older folks in the future! I would buy them for sure...oh, and I have this one in my cart right now!

I hope you do get some Highlights for your kids. I get these mailers from them because I have given my 2 year old nephew a subscription to one of their magazines. I plan to keep sending him them and when he's old enough, the puzzle ones too!
