Earth Day Maze revisited

I had a request for the solution to this maze recently, so I thought I would post it here. It is a very old maze, dating back to my start on TpT 10 years ago! Wow! Nuts to think about. Anyway, with Earth Day happening tomorrow, it seemed like a good idea to remind everyone of this dusty old thing, which is still solvable and fun! Earth Day Code Breakers - 2 free puzzles

Do your kids like codes? Here are some free Earth Day Code Breakers! There are 2 pages filled with Earth Day related words for kids to decode using the some special Earth Day icons! Both puzzles are included in one PDF that you can download by clicking either the picture above or the one below. The first 2 pages in the PDF are the puzzles and the last 2 are the answers. So just print the first 2 pages. The answers are available just in case!

Code Breakers are very similar to the Crypto-Families puzzle I post the other day, except that they are WAY easier as the code is given. Code Breakers are for younger children. They can have fun decoding the words, but they can also use the coded alphabet to create their own secret messages for others to decode! (Some drawing skills required for that idea)

Free Earth Day Crypto-Families Puzzle for High Schoolers

This one if TOUGH! I recommend it for older students. Maybe middle school, definitely high school. It has two Crypto-Families on the page. Each Family is a list of 10 encrypted words with a theme. The goal is to decode all the words! The first puzzle has a theme of "Rainforest Animals" and the second puzzle's theme is "Renewable Energy". Students should know a bit about each of these subjects before tackling the puzzles. Some hints have been provided to get brain cells flowing!
