What Am I? puzzles provide 4 clues to a mystery word. Each clue looks something like this: "My 1 4 10 8 2 is a comfy seat." The answer is "chair" and that tells the solver that the 1st letter of the hidden word is a C, the 4th letter is an H, and so on. Each set of clues will overlap somewhat, such that the letter at spot 4 might be in two different clues. This will aid in solving the puzzles.
Note that each mystery word has been encoded in numerical order. So if a word has two P's, each P will have a different number depending on the order it appears in the mystery word. This has been confusing for some solvers, so be careful!
Some more clues that you can get your kids to look for are the pictures and the title of the page. The pictures shown will be hints to some of the clues, not the mystery words! And the title will give the theme that unites the 3 mystery words.

I also reformatted this old "Spring Edition" What Am I? You can download it here or click on the picture. These files are available on Google Drive. Remember that some schools block downloads from there, so if you have trouble downloading, please try again from home.
And on that Spring note, I just released a new puzzle mini-book on TpT for 6th graders! There are 15 super fun Spring-themed puzzles just waiting for your kids to solve them!
