Easter Puzzles

Need some Easter puzzles!? I just posted some brand new Easter puzzle sets to my TpT store. They are full page printable puzzles. One set is for early elementary and one is for upper elementary. I have also provided a digital overlay for the all puzzles, except the coloring pages, using Easel by TpT, so they can be easily assigned and completed over the computer.

Hope your Easter holidays and Spring Breaks are awesome!

Spanish Ocean Animals

Spanish Ocean Animals is the newest puzzle pack in my TpT store! There are 15 puzzles and activities all about ocean animals for students studying the Spanish language. These are geared towards elementary aged students and include a variety of puzzles with different levels, so some are appropriate for older students and some are better for younger students. This gives more flexibility for the foreign language teacher or the home educator. You can see a preview of the entire set at my TpT store here!

St Patrick's Clover Shaped Fill In - free puzzle

One more free St Patrick's Day puzzle for this week! This puzzle is a Fill In style where students must figure out how to place the themed words into the puzzle blanks. The words in this puzzle wrap back on themselves so there is no start or end point. The shaded squares represent both the beginning and ending of words. There are two versions in the PDF. The first one shows the beginning and ending letters in the shaded squares. The second version is missing those letters and so is slightly harder. That is the version shown above. There is also an answer key on the third page.

I hope your kids have been enjoying the puzzles!

St Patrick's Day Code Breaker - free puzzle

I've been getting excited about St Patrick's Day this year! I am going to make soda bread for the first time so that should be interesting! This fun holiday has been on my mind, and I've been making puzzles themed around it.

This is a Code Breaker puzzle. The code is provided in full, so it is very easy for kids to 'break' it. This is more about visual discrimination than logical thinking. It can get tricky in that some of the encoding symbols are very similar, so it's takes a closer look to figure them out.

As an added bonus, since a code of the entire alphabet is provided, kids can practice encoding their own St Patrick's Day words by drawing the icons out themselves. They could even write a secret note to a friend!

Just click on the picture above to download the PDF file. There are 2 pages, one for the puzzle and one for the answer.

Another St Pat's puzzle is coming tomorrow!
