The Puzzle Den - Fall Leaf Fill In - Harder Version

Added 12/17/17 - I thought these puzzles could use a little toughening up, so I created a slightly harder version of each.  The version doesn't include the starting letters, which gives students an extra challenge getting started!  You can download whichever version you prefer by clicking on the pictures above.

Mazes at the World Market

Ginny and I had some extra time on Friday while Jack was in his 3D History class at Compass (our homeschool co-op).  We wondered into a store called World Market, which we thought would be a grocery store with interesting goods from around the world.  We were quite surprised to find that it is actually a home deco store...with a small grocery section too!

But what was most fun was finding some cute little mazes for sale.  The first one was a little cube maze with a tiny ball in it.  Apparently it is multi-functional as it is also a stamp.  I'm guessing that the stamp will be of a kitty for this one.

The second one we found was a beautiful circular wooden maze.  There were 4 ball bearings inside, and it seems like the goal is to get all the balls into the center circle.  It was very well made.

So we went into the shop looking for food and we found puzzles!  Couldn't have been a better day!
